Just as a love story begins with a look, the creative process of a stationary begins with a story: yours.
What brought you together and the dreams you have for the future. When creating the wedding invitation, this is the story I will tell, giving body and expression to your dreams.
This narrative unfolds across many planes and media, from the usual trio – wedding invitation, missal, menu – to whatever imagination and context dictate, with no limit to creativity!
INVITATIONS, WHERE DO WE START?
All the work I do is created from scratch, I don’t have a collection ready to choose and deliver.
This format makes A Pajarita invitations more special, and also requires a more specific and detailed approach.
1. REQUEST A QUOTE
During your first contact, tell me what you have in mind, details you like and what is essential. Include, if possible, specific information, such as the date, number of guests and location. These indications (schedule, volume of parts and geographic distance) may have an impact on value and availability.
If your ideas are still very open but you understand the importance of this item and have already allocated a value to it, this could be the starting point and I will propose options that are, from now on, aligned in price and expectations.
Use the contact form to ensure there is no missing information, you can find it here.
Within 48 working hours, I will contact you with an estimated quote.
If you do not receive my proposal within this period, look for it in your spam folder or, especially for Gmail users, in the advertising tab.
2. FIRST PAYMENT
After the initial consultation, we will have a detailed conversation over the phone, video call or in person, to discuss your project in detail. The special nature of this celebration calls for proximity and the tactile characteristics of my work come to life when it lands in your hands.
At this meeting we defined ideas and a work schedule.
To move to the next phase, the order request must be activated with a 50% payment of the budget amount. You can pay in person in cash or by bank transfer
In the case of orders with different delivery phases, request the values corresponding to each phase.
We would appreciate it if you could send proof of your transfer along with your billing information to: info@apajarita.com.
3. CREATIVE PROCESS
I begin my creative process, developing a proposal based on your expectations and recommendations.
With the delivery of the initial proposal, we will fine-tune – if necessary – the changes.
The budget presented provides for two general revisions. The following changes will be paid for, and my commitment and focus is that we always get it right the first time!
Approximately 1-2 weeks the first proposal will be sent.
4. FROM DREAM TO HAND
After the digital prototype´s approval, we do a copy of the physical of the invitation.
This copy will remain in the studio and it will serve as a guide in the production of the requested copies.
If you can’t come and see it in person, we will send photos.
I am waiting for the final payment to move on to the next phase.
5. PRODUCTION AND DELIVERY
From here, I produce the requested quantities. Production and assembly is manual work and requires great care and dedication.
This process can take 1-3 weeks.
When everything is ready, I will contact you to schedule shipping of your order or collection at the studio.
Shipping is not included unless explicitly stated in the approved quote.
STATIONERY OF THE DAY, WHERE DO WE START?
The stationery of the day will be designed following the design created for the invitations.
The image created for the invitations can be used or, as I like most, elements from it can be used to create a more dynamic stationary.
The stationery of the day can be much more complex, like different table markers or an illustration created for each piece (for the cones, the cover of the missal, the menu…).
You should let me know if this is the ideal option for you when formalizing the budget. Otherwise, creating new images costs extra.
The entire process from AWARDING to PRODUCTION AND DELIVERY, the process is the same as creating invitations*.
* We don’t make a copy of physics. It will be the same printing and Pantone colors used in the wedding invitation.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do you want to purchase the original image created for the invitation/stationary?
The original image created for the invitation or stationary can be purchased. They must inform of this decision before starting the creative process, always indicating the intended size of the original work.
Cuts
For cuts there are two options:
Guillotine cut, a cut made mechanically, the sides are regular.
Manual cut, a cut made manually, the sides are irregular depending on the cotton and paper weight.
Shipping
Shipping costs can vary, as they are calculated on the weight, dimension, and destination of the package as well as the value of the contents. Transit time may also vary depending on location. As a rule, delivery is made the day following collection (except for deliveries made on Fridays or national/local holidays). We will use Nacex due to their competitive costs and reliable service.
A Pajarita does not have any control over shipping costs or delivery time.
From 2026 onwards, we will only ship to countries within the European Union.
Import Fees
A Pajarita will not be responsible for any import/customs fees accessed by the receiving country. We are not given any information regarding these fees as the shipper, so all import/customs fees are the responsibility of the receiver of the package.
In case of withdrawal, what happens?
In case of withdrawal, you will be charged for the time and materials already spent up to that point, thus giving up all the work already created.
